About Kristeen

Owner, Photographer, & Storyteller

Kristeen Marie Waddell is an Indianapolis, IN Photographer who loves ice tea, the color purple, technology, and small children. She has always had a passion for photography and loves to share that passion with others.

Kristeen was born and raised in Northwest Indiana - Schererville, IN to be exact. After graduating from Purdue with a degree in Computer Graphics she moved to Indianapolis which is where she now calls home. Kristeen lives in West Carmel (just North of Indianapolis) with her 2-year-old son (Jack), Mini-Labradoodle (Rosie) and her husband (Drew). She loves her family and her job!

Kristeen's love for digital photography started as a child when she was given a "state of the art" digital camera for Christmas. The camera held 8 pictures, but that was enough to get started. Since that day, no matter where you see Kristeen, she has her camera close by. Kristeen turned her passion for photography into something more in 2006 (wow - 8 years ago!) when she started shooting professionally.

She is a photographer of many things - from newborns to engagement. She specializes in newborns, families, and weddings. Regardless of what Kristeen is shooting the goal is always to tell a story.

Kristeen also loves sharing her story via socal media. So be sure to follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Pintereset!

KristeenMaire Photography's Studio

The Studio

Kristeen has a studio in West Carmel. The studio is primarily used for newborns and children 2 years old or younger. Occasionally during the winter months it will also be used for maternity sessions.

Kristeen loves doing newborn sessions in her studio as she can control all the conditions for baby's optimal contentment - this includes temp, noise levels, and she has easy access to all of her props and backdrops.

Cake smash sessions are also a blast in the studio. No need to mess up your home. Just bring your one year old to the studio and make a beautiful mess that you will remember for your child's lifetime.

There are many things in life that I love, though there are not many that I love more then photography. I love life and I want to capture every bit of it using my camera." Kristeen Marie Waddell
