10 Fun Facts about Redheads and a Cute Little Redhead Newborn

Ezra Michael is the sweetest little boy and has a head full of red hair! He is such a cutie and I was so excited to be able to capture his newborn session. Since I do not see many redheads in the studio, I thought it would be interesting to share some fun facts about redheads!

1. Redheads are often left handed. I guess we will see what happens with this little man!
2. Typically bees are more attracted to people with red hair
3. People with red hair often have less strands of hair, but their hair is typically thicker so it makes their hair look more full
4. Ezra has a long time before this one, but redheads do not normally go grey- they go white
5. A unique combination is red hair with blue eyes! Less than a million people have this combination
6. Changes in temperature are more noticed for people with red hair
7. People with any ethnicity can have red hair
8. Thomas Jefferson was a redhead!
9. Redheads are commonly believed to be smarter than people with other colors of hair
10. Roughly 30% of people that dye their hair at home, choose red
