Getting up at sunrise for a session is always a win and this session was no exception! At sunrise you almost always have the park to yourself which is super nice. Also, you get this very golden light and sometimes, like for this session, you even get that foggy morning dew – talk about dreamy!!

Mr. Asher, the birthday boy, was pretty dreamy too! He had a smile for every shot and was full of personality! You can’t help but laugh when you are interacting with him. It seems like just yesterday I was taking his newborn pictures. I can’t believe he is already a one-year-old.  We were able to get some pretty great family photos with Asher as well.  Be sure to check out his cake smash towards the end- it is super adorable!

What a fun first birthday cake smash session! I can’t wait to continue to watch this little guy grow.
