If you are looking to create some memories and have pictures as a family, I am happy to help you out! I do offer different family photography packages if that would be something that you want to hear more about!
Getting up at sunrise for a session is always a win and this session was no exception! At sunrise you almost always have the park to yourself which is super nice. Also, you get this very golden light and sometimes, like for this session, you even get that foggy morning dew – talk about dreamy!!
Mr. Asher, the birthday boy, was pretty dreamy too! He had a smile for every shot and was full of personality! You can’t help but laugh when you are interacting with him. It seems like just yesterday I was taking his newborn pictures. I can’t believe he is already a one-year-old. We were able to get some pretty great family photos with Asher as well. Be sure to check out his cake smash towards the end- it is super adorable!
What a fun first birthday cake smash session! I can’t wait to continue to watch this little guy grow.
I hope you enjoyed this 1st birthday cake smash session! If you are looking for an Indianapolis photographer please let me know. I would love to photograph your family sometime soon.
Look at all these beautiful girls! They also are all dressed in my favorite color – purple! These little ladies (and long time clients) are quite the world travelers. Right now they are living in South Africa where their parents are working. I think they get the award for furthest traveled for a session!!! Don’t worry – they didn’t travel back JUST for family pictures. They were also visiting friends and family while they were here in Indianapolis.
Such a fun family photography session! I just adore watching all these girls grow into little ladies.
I hope you and your family are looking for family pictures! If you are looking for an Indianapolis family photographer just let me know. I would love to get a session date on the calendar.
I happen to adore this family. They are not only clients but also good friends. These guys are super easy going and a joy to photograph! We did their session at Holcomb Gardens on Butler’s campus. These guys are HUGE Butler Basketball fans (and happen to sit right next to us at the BU games) so it was only appropriate that we ended their family photography session in front of Hinkle Fieldhouse.
What a fun family session!

It’s always fun photographing friends! I was honored to photograph their 1st little ones 1st year of life and now I can’t wait to photograph baby number 2 as he grows throughout his first year! It’s been a cold and rainy Fall but it didn’t bother these guys one bit! Big sister had a blast running though the park (that we had all to ourselves!) at sunrise.
Such a sweet family! I can’t wait to meet this cute little bump. And I’m excited for our little boys to grow up together.

Meet Laura and Jacob. These two are just the sweetest! They currently have a long distance relationship. However, it’s clear that every moment they spend together is sheer joy. These two just make each other laugh and smile. I don’t think that beautiful smile left Laura’s face the whole engagement session, which makes my job a lot easier. I don’t have to tell my corny jokes. 🙂 But seriously, these two are amazing. I can’t wait for their wedding in a few months!
I just love Spring and their session was just the perfect Spring day! Congrats you two on your engagement.

These two were incredible. They were beautiful in every way. It wasn’t possible to to take a bad picture of this stunning couple. Just a fair warning, this is a long post. There were just too many good pictures I couldn’t help but share.
These two are getting married later this year, out of the country. It’s surely going to be a beautiful day.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Spring outside. The flowering trees are only out for a short time, but when they are out, they are spectacular and these two timed their session just right to capture their beauty.
I can’t wait to meet and photograph this little baby very soon! Stay tuned for those images.

This session was a complete surprise to the mom-to-be and it was fantastic. Mom’s friend set up the shoot. She set up everything… She trolled her friend’s Pinterest board to pick out and purchase the perfect maternity outfits for her. She did her friend’s hair and make-up. She picked the location and hired a professional photographer (me!). And she even secretly got her friend’s family to show up half way though the shoot to do family pictures. This expecting mom thought she was going to the park for some casual pictures with her friend. Little did she know, she was in for a real treat/surprise! It was fantastic!
Pulling out the 2nd outfit for the shoot put our expecting mama to tears. It was too cute…
The lovely friend behind the surprise…
It was a beautiful day with some beautiful people! Thanks for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives.

This is a very special session. Meet my little sister – Kathy – and her fiance – GD. These two have been together since high school and they are now almost 30. These pictures have been a long time in the making and they couldn’t have been more special. It was fun helping with this session from start to finish… my sister and I went shopping together for clothes and I got to chat with her while she was getting her hair and make-up done and then I got to be the one behind the camera to capture these moments. It was a perfect day for a perfect couple.
Congrats you two! Love you both!!
This is one wedding I won’t be photographing, but I couldn’t be more excited to be my sister’s Maid of Honor.
