Wednesday Wedding | Indianapolis Wedding Photography

This lovely couple was married on an unseasonably beautiful Wednesday in March in Indianapolis. The pictures started in Holcomb Gardens at Butler University. This was the perfect location for this couple as they met at Butler and their wedding was Butler themed (note all the blue). After taking pictures the couple went on to Cooper’s Hawk Winery where the couple shared in drinks and great company.

Jennifer & Josh: Fall Wedding on the Farm – Indianapolis Wedding Photography

Jennifer and Josh had a beautiful wedding on their family farm. You may remember these two from their engagement photos on the farm. Jennifer did a great job planning and putting together everything from the gorgeous wooden archway to the dance floor surrounded by hay stalks and white lights.

The BridesmandsThe flower girls were so sweet! The littlest one (Isabella) was very unsure about going down the isle. After she saw that her sister and cousins were all the way down at the end of the isle she just ran full speed to catch up. It was too cute!

Kiss the BrideIt was such a nice cloudless fall day.

The Wedding CeremonyAll the details at the wedding were prefect. My favorite was the name cards. Everyone had their name written on a tag attached to a small pumpkin or gourd. On the back side of the name tag was your table letter.

The Wedding Detials Like a typical wedding, nerves were high before the ceremony. But, after the ceremony we were able to get some more relaxed photos of the bride and groom.

Mike & Katie: Wedding at the Ratskeller | Indiananapolis Wedding Photographer

So this wasn’t technically a wedding. Mike and Kate were originally married a few months earlier in Vegas. However, they decided to renew their vows in front of their family and friends. This lovely couple couldn’t have been more fun to work with. They were very easy going and just happy to be together.

They had a super fun ‘guest book.’
Instead of a book, they had a tree where all there guests could leave the bride and groom words of wisdom.

During the reception there was lots of fun to be had by all. The groom had on his dancing shoes…

And so did the bride…

Meredith and Kyle had anything but a traditional wedding. To go along with their non-traditional wedding, they had me do some non-traditional photographs. For this wedding reception we created a photo both with props and all. The background matched the wedding colors and the props went along with everyone’s spirits.

An Indianapolis Wedding: Simple but Sophisticated

Lynnette and Leif were married in Downtown Indianapolis on the circle at Christ Church Cathedral. The church was simple but very beautiful, and it is in one of the best locations in the city!

Normally weddings are a very emotional time for everyone, especially the bride.
This bride was no exception.

This is something you don’t see at every wedding. Meet Aurora, the bride’s dog. Isn’t she cute?

Amanda and Jay’s Wedding

It’s wedding season again – the best time of year to take pictures! These lovely photos are from a recent wedding in NW Indiana. The colors were vibrant and the love strong. The bride and groom couldn’t have asked for better weather, company, or fun.

Unique Save the Date Examples at an affordable price!

It’s engagement season! I’ve been having a number of brides-to-be asking about save the date cards. Let me walk you through what the save the date process looks like when using KristeenMarie Photography.

STEP 1 – Have your engagement pictures taken and choose your favorite one(s)!

Emily and Michael's Engagement Picture

STEP 2 – This is the fun part – choices. You can choose what type of save the date you are looking for:

  • A Save The Date Magnet
  • A card that you can have printed yourself (this can be done very inexpensively) on stock paper
  • A picture sized card that you can send (this is also a very inexpensive option)
  • An actual postcard

SETP 3 – Once you provide me with this information I will come back to you with a set of a number (usually 4-5) options for your save the date. Then the two of us can work together and choose elements from each of the designs that you like most. Below is an example of mock-up that I did for one of my brides.

STEP 4 – I will then combine all your favorite elements into your perfect and unique save the date card. The bride below turned this design into a lovely magnet that cost her next to nothing to produce for her wedding.
