A Lovely Little Lifestyle Family Session – Indianapolis Family Photographer

This adorable little family wanted to do a lifestyle family photography session at their home on their lovely piece of property. I’m so glad they did because their land was picture perfect and it’s very personal to them and holds so many memories. We did a few posed pictures but most of the session was us having fun all around the yard. These guys even added on the family video and it turned out adorable. Check it out at the end of the session.

These guys hope to do family pictures on their land every year or two so that they can see how it changes and how the family changes from year to year. I love that idea!

The Hazlett Family – Zionsville Family Photographer

This sweet family was so much fun. The kids were all so easy going that we were able to get a ton of pictures during this session. I think their gallery had near 140 images! We did everything from posed smiles at the camera to ring around the rosy. It was a perfect Summer night for pictures with a beautiful Zionsville, IN family.

Baby Callum’s Outdoor Newborn Pictures – Indianapolis Newborn Photography

I always adore photographing this sweet family. This session was no exception. This family which previously had 3 girls just added their newest addition – a sweet baby boy. Meet little Callum. These guys were troopers waking up at sunrise for a little creek side outdoor newborn session, and it definitely did not disappoint. We had a glowing morning with some perfect summer weather. The most beautiful setting to photograph this growing family!

Sometimes when you meet new clients for the first time you know that you are going to make magic. These guys were one of those clients. They had the most beautiful souls both inside and out. They were such a joy to work with and boy-o-boy did they look good for their pictures! They had a lovely summer day for their maternity photography session in Carmel, Indiana with a stunning sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a better maternity session. I’m super excited to meet that little baby-to-be.

Three little girls and one more on the way – Carmel, Indiana Maternity Photographer

I’ve been photographing this sweet family for years. In fact, I even photographed their wedding. It’s a joy to be able to watch this family grow year after year. They have three beautiful girls and one more on the way. I can’t wait to see what it will be – boy or girl. We did this lovely maternity session at sunset at a park in Carmel, Indiana. It was a perfect summer day with a lovely sunset. We danced, cuddled, and played the sun away.

I’m counting down the days until this little one arrives!

One More Makes 6 – Outdoor Indianapolis Newborn Photography

I adore this family. They have allowed me to capture their family since towards the beginning of my career as a photographer. They had me photograph their oldest son before I even had a studio and I brought a huge car load of stuff into their home, rearranged furniture, and photographed their oldest as a tiny nugget. It was an honor to be able to capture their 4th (and maybe last) little one. We had a perfect sunrise morning and a very happy baby. All three big brothers were in love with their new baby sister and it was so sweet to watch!

I also adore outdoor newborn sessions. So everything about this session made my heart happy. I can’t wait to photograph even more outdoor newborn sessions this summer. If you are expecting a summer baby please reach out and let me know!

The Randall Family – Indianapolis Family Photographer

Sometimes I get labeled as a baby photographer. It’s true a lot of the families I shoot have toddles and babies in them. It’s also true that I’m really good with kids. However, the reason I shoot so many families with babies in them is because I meet a most of my family photography clients when they have their newborns and then they stick with me (which I love!) to capture their families year after year. This family however, has no toddlers and it’s just as fun! It wasn’t nearly as exhausting – if you have a toddler you know what I mean. These guys humored me with my jokes meant for toddlers. So yes – I’m great with kids. But I’m also great with pre-teens, teens, and adults. The older families may laugh at me instead of with me but I don’t care one bit!

These girls and their parents were a joy to work with. Just a beautiful family and a beautiful Indiana day for pictures!

Van Hoy Family – Indianapolis Family Photographer

Meet the Van Hoy family! These guys wanted a family shoot to celebrate the twins turning two. And how cute are they?! This family had a beautiful Indianapolis sunrise and stunning weather. The twins were as cute as could be and were full of expressions. I may be speaking to the choir, but I think that capturing family photos every year is great and helps to keep track of your growing family!

By the end of the session, the twins were over it. But they were so stinking cute that I didn’t mind one bit!

Family Fun on the Creek – Zionsville Family Photography

My typical creek location is closed for the year due to construction at the park. I was super bummed about that, but then I found this location while exploring with my own kids during quarantine. It’s just as perfect (if not more so) then my other location and I was excited to try it out for the first time with this family.

These guys have been clients of mine for a few years now so I knew they would be up for the adventure from climbing in trees (how perfect is that sitting tree?!) to playing in the water. And boy was I right. This family (especially the older boys) loved every moment of this family session.

The Huxford Family – Indianapolis Family Photographer

I happen to adore this family. They are not only clients but also good friends. These guys are super easy going and a joy to photograph! We did their session at Holcomb Gardens on Butler’s campus. These guys are HUGE Butler Basketball fans (and happen to sit right next to us at the BU games) so it was only appropriate that we ended their family photography session in front of Hinkle Fieldhouse.
