I love photographing babies. When the baby belongs to your best friend it’s even more fun and meaningful.
Meet baby Logan. This little guy is the newest member of my best friend’s family. I traveled up to Chicago for this shoot. I don’t normally travel that far for newborns, but I couldn’t resist not traveling to meet this little man.
Little Logan weighed in at just over 10 lbs. He had bleached blond hair and long fingers and toes. He was just too cute!
I’m not normally big into costumes for newborns (I mean… it’s not Halloween). If parents want to bring a costume for their little one to be photographed in then that is great and I’m happy to take the picture.
However, I don’t typically purchase costume like props for my studio.
This little guy has the cutest nursery with a fox theme. So I couldn’t resist picking up this hat for him. I think this picture will look great on his nursery wall.
This little boy is very loved. His grandma made him the beautiful baby blanket below.
