I’ve been having so much fun with maternity sessions lately! I used to treat maternity sessions like I do engagement sessions. There would be lots of interacting between mom and dad. But what I’m learning is that it’s so much more then that! It’s really about the interactions with the baby-to-be. I’ve been taking lots more pictures of just mom and baby and the two of them interacting.
We started this session in traditional street clothes and then transitioned into one of my maternity gowns. Both setups were beautiful. It also helps that we had a stunning mother-to-be and a great Indianapolis location.
I can’t wait to meet their little guy (yes, it’s a boy!). We are going to head back to this same spot to take newborn pictures.
