This handsome birthday boy was very stoic and made me work for smiles. I didn’t mind one bit because he had some great non-smiling faces too! He had a raised brow look that just cracked me up. He is clearly full of personality!!
For this birthday boy, we did an MVP sports themed cake smash session. It was very fitting for him because his mom played collegiate sports and his dad played professional basketball overseas. Something tells me that this sweet boy is going to be a sports player but his parents aren’t forcing one sport on him. He has the whole world of sports open to him (at least for his first birthday cake smash session). While we didn’t get many ear-to-ear grins, it was clear that he enjoyed this sports themed cake smash. He sure did like to eat all that frosting!
This was my last session before going on maternity leave. It took place 3 days before my due-date and I went into labor the day after this session. I did take a behind the scenes video of this session and I’m looking very pregnant in it!
