Your birth is an intimate, vulnerable, and emotion filled event. These is so much connection and love that happens in such a short time. As a birth photographer, I want to capture this life changing time for you and your family. Those who choose to capture this time are always grateful for the memories.

For those who want their tiny new baby captured in the hospital without a photographer there the whole time, a Fresh 48 session is a great option. These sessions take place within 48 hours of baby being born. This is a magical time in the lives of a growing family. It doesn’t matter how tired mom is she is still glowing with excitement and love for her new little baby.

I’ve been to all the local Indianapolis hospital and I’ve seen all the outcomes for births - c-sections, vaginal, medicated, dula assisted, unmedicated, breach, NICU stays, and more. I’ve seen it all, somehow each birth is still magical in it’s own way. I would be honored to tell your baby’s birth story through both images and video.

SESSION PRICE:

Pre-birth consultation to meet and chat about your birth
On-call surrounding your birth. The exact days will be discussed during your consultation. Typically starts about 2 weeks before your due date and a week after.
Photographing your birth at your birth place and up to two hours postpartum
Final hand edited images delivered via downloadable password protected gallery
Final images are delivered within 2 weeks of baby's birth
Birth video is also delivered within two weeks of your baby's birth
Option to include a Fresh 48 Session (great for including siblings at a later time) at a discounted rate

Due to the nature of birth photography Kristeen is only accepting a VERY limited number of sessions each year. Please reach out as early as possible to ensure availability for your due date.

In-hospital session typically last around an hour
Family members and siblings are welcome (and encouraged) to be in the pictures
All edited images are delivered via online gallery within 2 weeks of your session
Includes a short video
You can download all images and use/print them however you would like!

If photographing your birth is a little much for you, but you still want your time in the hospital captured then you may want to consider a Fresh 48 session. These sessions allow for those intimate moments in the hospital to be captured without capturing the actual labor and delivery.
