It’s no secret, I LOVE outdoor sunset newborn sessions. They are probably my very favorite type of session to shoot. That being said, they are also one of the most logistically complicated sessions to schedule. Everyone involved basically just has to be super easy going. Here is what is involved: you first have to convince a mom of a 10 day old (or younger) newborn to go walk around outside on a hot summer day. The weather has to be prefect (not rainy, too hot, or too cold) and the baby needs to be happy (fed nice and full and hopefully pretty sleepy). All of this typically happens after a short in-studio newborn session because mom typically wants pictures of baby in the studio too. If all the stars align and everything goes smoothly then you get some pretty AMAZING images.
This outdoor newborn session was no exception. Baby and family all did fantastic and we ended up with some priceless images. Don’t worry, we also got a few in the studio too before we went outside.
Welcome to the world little guy. Thanks for being a fantastic model for your outdoor newborn session.
