Nature has a way of demonstrating the interconnectedness of our planet, as events in one corner can have surprising consequences in distant locations. Recently, Canada has experienced devastating wildfires that have left their mark on both the Canadian landscape and beyond. The impact of these wildfires has reached as far as Indiana, where hazy sunsets have become an unexpected result of the Canadian fires. The smoke particles act as a filter, altering the distribution of wavelengths in the sunlight and creating a captivating display of warm, muted colors during sunset. Shades of red, orange, and pink dominate the horizon. This isn’t your typical Indiana sunset, but it does make for some unique pictures.
These maternity pictures were taken in Indianapolis during the height of the Canadian fire fog. While, they don’t look like a traditional Indiana sunset, they were still stunning! Such a sweet family and I can’t wait to meet their newest addition.
