If you have worked with me in the past, you know that about two weeks after your session you will receive an online gallery with all your edited digital files. Then a short while after that you will also receive a jump drive with all your edited digital files as well.
Offering the digital files is a business choice that I’ve made. I’ve made this chose because I want you to use the files in the way that you want to use them. I want you to print the images over and over and over again. I want them to be all over your home. I want you to share them via social media. I want you to love and use your images the way that you see fit!
That being said, here are a few things to note about what you will receive and how you should proceeded:
- When I say you will receive all your edited digital files, that doesn’t mean that you will receive all the images that I took during your session. Trust me, you don’t want them all! I’ll go through and pick the best of the best and those will be the ones included in your online gallery and on your jump drive. Every session is different, so I can’t give you an exact number of images that you will receive. However, I’m an over shooter so you will be getting a good healthy number of final images.
- Don’t forget to back up your images. Yes, I do store your images for you in two separate places – online and on the jump drive. However, it is recommended that you also save the files somewhere else. I do not promise I will archive your images forever.
- Be sure to print your images. I do highly recommend using a professional printer! This means that taking your images to somewhere like Walmart, Costco, CVS, or Walgreens is not encouraged. These places will give you varying levels of print and color accuracy. Please use a professional printer. When you receive your online gallery you can print using that site. If you want to use somewhere local I highly recommend Roberts Camera.
Below is what you will receive in the mail after your session. Included is the jump drive and the print release.
