From Kristeen: A while back (it’s been over two years ago now), I found that my business was taking over my life. I felt overwhelmed and stressed out. It wasn’t the picture part of the business that I was overwhelmed with. It was everything else… writing blog content, sending/creating invoices, responding quickly to new inquires, etc.
I’m also a wife, and a mom to a two year old and those “jobs” are so important to me that I needed to be able to prioritize those jobs. Almost two years ago, I was out to dinner with some friends (we have a monthly girls night where we all meet for dinner at a local restaurant) and I was talking about my business and how I really needed someone to edit my blog posts for me. Afterwards, my friend Beth reached out to me and told me that she would be interested in helping me do this and the rest is history. Editing blog posts, turned it to booking client sessions, working with clients to design albums and canvas prints, and so much more. Seriously – she does so much for me at this point I don’t know what I would do without her!! She knows my business inside and out (sometimes better then I do!). She can’t take or edit pictures but she can do just about everything else. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to do a formal introduction of her!! If you are a client of mine chances are, you have probably been in contact with Beth and I thought that it is about time that I introduce her- so without further ado, our studio manager here at KristeenMarie Photography, Beth!
From Beth: Hey everyone! I’m Beth, Kristeen’s assistant and studio manager and I am so thankful each and every day that Kristeen has given me the opportunity to do this for the past couple years and join her on this journey. I love that I get to see all of the beautiful pictures that she takes of all of the wonderful families that she works with and that I get to sometimes work with those families too, when it comes to ordering albums or prints or even sometimes scheduling different photo sessions. When I am not working with Kristeen, you can find me working with children and families at a local Catholic Church as well as working with couples as a Wedding Coordinator. I’m married and I’m a dog mom to our rescue pup, Chopper. Kristeen and I have been friends for many years and I have always admired her drive and determination, so to be able to work by her side is really such a pleasure and an honor for me.
