This year, from sundown on September 29 until sundown on October 1, people of the Jewish faith will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, which is a celebration of a new year. They celebrate in many ways, and with many customary dishes, but one of those ways is to eat sweet things like apples and honey to symbolize a sweet new year. For these clients, whom I have known since their baby was born, they wanted their family shoot to incorporate this holiday and special time.
The day of the shoot was just perfect. It was bright and sunny and an 85 degree day despite it being mid September. We definitely were able to get lots and lots of playing and action shots and their pup even joined them for this beautiful shoot. This sweet furry friend has been in all of the family pictures, including baby’s newborn session! I just LOVE when I get to continuously work with clients and watch the families grow and the little ones grow up over the years- it is one of the best parts of my job! I also love learning about these families and their traditions. I knew nothing about Rosh Hahanah before this session.
Happy Rosh Hashanah to this wonderful family!
