Last year, Dull’s Tree Farm was my most popular location, and it’s easy to see why. It’s great for winter photos on the tree farm but it’s even better (in my opinion) in the wildflower field. With its vibrant wildflower fields and breathtaking scenery, it offers the perfect backdrop for your summer photos.

Central Park in Carmel, Indiana, is an amazing spot for a family photo sessions. I love shooting here because of the wide variety of beautiful backdrops in one location. The park offers something for every style—whether you want scenic nature shots or something more playful and fun for the kids.

When I say I’m a doodle lover, I mean it! We have not one, but two doodles at home. Our mini Labradoodle is 12 years old and full of personality—grumpy yet loveable as ever. And then there’s our 6-month-old Goldendoodle, a giant bundle of joy and pure energy. With these two in the house, I get my daily dose of dog snuggles, goofy moments, and the occasional burst of chaos.

In-studio milestone sessions offer a lot of variety while keeping things simple. During a full session, we typically use 3-4 different outfits. I have a wide selection of rompers and diaper covers you can use, or you’re welcome to bring your own outfits or props that hold special meaning. The focus is mostly on your baby, but we can include one family setup during the session as well.

We captured such a variety of images from this session! There were moments with everyone smiling at the camera, kids playing and exploring, and parents cuddling. Each shot shows off the unique connection this family shares. This mix of posed and candid moments makes each session feel complete—and so much fun to look back on!
