Mini sessions are the perfect way to get beautiful, updated photos without committing to a full session. They’re quick, fun, and always sell out fast! If you’re hoping to snag a spot this year, here’s everything you need to know.
What Are Mini Sessions?
Mini sessions are held on set dates, run back-to-back, and last about 20 minutes. They typically cost $550. These are ideal for families who want stunning seasonal photos but don’t need a full-length session.
Booking emails go out about 6-8 weeks before each session. That means you won’t get all the details at once—I send them out as each session gets closer. If you want first dibs, make sure you’re on my email list!
2025 Mini Session Lineup
Spring Minis – Late April/Early May
Fresh blooms, warmer temps, and beautiful parks in Carmel or Indy. A great way to kick off the season!
Creek Side Minis – July
Held at a gorgeous Carmel park with a peaceful creek. Sunrise sessions are extra dreamy, but sunset is beautiful too!
Wildflower Minis – July/Early August
Shot at Dull’s Tree Farm in Thorntown, IN—one of the best wildflower fields in the state! I’m one of the few photographers with access to this stunning location. It’s a bit of a drive, but SO worth it!
Sunflower Minis – Early/Mid August
Sunflowers only bloom for two weeks a year, making these sessions rare and unpredictable. If you love golden fields of sunflowers, be flexible with your dates so you don’t miss this short window!
Fall Minis – September/October
Carmel and Indy parks explode with color in the fall! If you have little ones under two, I recommend booking in September before the temps drop.
Tree Farm Minis – Early November
Held at Dull’s Tree Farm, these sessions are perfect for holiday cards! Let’s capture cozy, festive moments among the evergreens.

Want more time and flexibility? Book a full family session! You’ll get 60 minutes instead of 20 at any of the mini session locations—or choose a spot that’s special to your family.
