Creek Side Mini Sessions are almost fully booked! I wanted to put a little info together for all those clients who booked to help them with what to wear. Here are a few pointers on choosing an outfit for your session.
- As a reminder, these sessions are about having fun! Yes, we will get a few smiles at the camera pictures, but we will also play in the water. Come prepared to get wet!
- Since you are going to walk in the water, midi length dresses are amazing. You can still wear a full leigh dress (and it will still look awesome) but it will get a little more wet.
- For men and boys I recommend shorts for the same reason. I would recommend upgrading from baggy cargo shorts and get something a little more fitted/polished.
- Natural fibers (ie cotton) that have some texture photograph best. Try to avoid polyester or anything shiny.
- You will want sandals for everyone that can get wet and still look cute. The creek is rock lined. Walking around barefoot is generally not comfortable. Also, let’s avoid neon colored water shoes or Crocs 🙂
- For this location, I really like natural and muted colors. Think soft pinks, blues, and greens. Then you can complement those colors with neutral tones.
