As a parent of three kids, I can attest to the fact that life with them can be absolutely crazy. But amidst all the chaos, there are many moments that make it all worth it.
But first, let’s talk about the craziness. With three kids, you’re constantly on the go. There are school runs, extracurricular activities, playdates, doctor’s appointments, and so much more to juggle. There are days when it feels like you’re running on a hamster wheel, trying to keep up with everything. And don’t even get me started on the mess! Toys strewn all over the floor, dirty dishes piled high, and laundry that seems to breed overnight. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and like you’re barely keeping your head above water.
But then, there are those moments that make it all worth it. Like the way your heart swells with pride as you watch your kids achieve their goals. Or the way they come running into your arms for a hug after a long day. The laughter that echoes through the house as you play games together or watch a movie. And those quiet moments, when you tuck them into bed at night and they snuggle up to you, telling you how much they love you. Those are the moments that make all the craziness worthwhile.
Having three kids also means there’s never a dull moment. They each have their own unique personalities, interests, and quirks, which means there’s always something new to discover. One day, they might be obsessed with dinosaurs, the next day it’s unicorns. They might argue and bicker with each other, but they also have an unbreakable bond that’s a joy to witness. Watching them grow and develop into their own people is a privilege, and one that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
As a photographer, my goal is to capture the moments that matter. I want to help my clients remember these crazy times, both the good times and the bad. Life is full of ups and downs, and photography can help us preserve those memories for a lifetime. I hope you see that in this session. I hope you see the crazy and the crazy love.
Being a mom to three is not always easy, but it’s always worth it. So to all the parents out there with three kids (or more!), keep on keeping on. You’re doing an amazing job, and your kids are lucky to have you.
