In-studio milestone sessions offer a lot of variety while keeping things simple. During a full session, we typically use 3-4 different outfits. I have a wide selection of rompers and diaper covers you can use, or you’re welcome to bring your own outfits or props that hold special meaning. The focus is mostly on your baby, but we can include one family setup during the session as well.

This particular session was extra special for me. I’ve had the joy of photographing these beautiful twin girls since their NICU days, and what a journey it has been! Watching them grow into the vibrant, fun-loving 8-year-olds they are today has been such an honor.⁠

I love sitter milestone sessions! Capturing babies at this stage is so special. These sessions are best when your baby can sit soundly on their own. You should feel comfortable leaving your baby on a hard surface without fear of toppling over. This usually happens around 7 months old, but every baby is different. If your baby isn’t sitting solidly yet, we can reschedule.

Every year, I do a photo session for each of my kids on their birthday. It’s a wonderful tradition and the photos are perfect for customized thank you cards. This year, I had the joy of capturing my son as he turned eight. This year’s session was video gaming themed to celebrate his love of gaming. We had so much fun setting up the shoot with his favorite games and gear. He was in his element, showing off his biggest smiles and favorite poses.

Every year, around my kid’s birthday, I do a special photo shoot for them. My second born, Brynn, hit the big 5 and you better believe she had something special in mind: a mermaid photoshoot. She rocked it and had fun doing it!
