What should we wear for our family photoshoot in Indianapolis to look our best?
After booking your session I’ll send you my what to wear tool. This will help you pick the best outfit for your location. It provides color pallets and recommends pieces for everyone in your family. I’m also always an email away too, if you need additional help!
How long does a typical family photography session in Indianapolis last?
Full sessions last around an hour. Mini sessions are 20 minutes long.

Can we include our pets in the family photoshoot?
Yes! For the most part, you can. There are a few locations that don’t allow pets, but I’m happy to point you in the right direction if you would like to include your fur baby. I love when clients bring their pups!!
What happens if it rains on the day of our scheduled outdoor photoshoot in Indianapolis?
If the weather is questionable the day of your outdoor session we will reschedule. I don’t typically like to make the call to reschedule until about 4 hours before the start of the session. Indianapolis weather can be very unpredictable and the forecast can change quickly.
Do you offer extended family sessions in Indianapolis?

How far in advance should we book our Indianapolis family photography session?
I’ll open up family session booking for 2024 early in the year. I recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability!
Can we choose the location for our family photoshoot, or do you have recommendations?
Yes and yes! If you book a full session, you get to choose the location. That being said, I have a number of favorite locations. If you can tell me the vibe you are going for I’m happy to point you in the direction of what location might be best for you. If you have no idea, that’s okay too! I’m still happy to tell you my favorite locations.
What’s the turnaround time for receiving our edited family photos from the session?
Two weeks after your session you will receive your edited images via online gallery.
How many images do we receive for a full family session?
This really depends on the session. I tell clients to expect between 50-80 images. However, sometimes clients receive as many as 120 images. You don’t pay extra for extra images. You will just get to download your whole gallery after you receive it via email.
Do you provide guidance on posing, or do we need to come up with our own ideas?
I’ve got you covered! If there is something specific you are looking for feel free to tell me at the beginning of your session. However, overall I’ll have lots of poses and prompts for you to do during your session. We will play and have fun and take some amazing pictures together.
What does it cost to do a family photography session with you?
I offer two different types of sessions – Full and Mini. A full session is an hour long at the location and date of your choosing. A mini session is 20 minutes long on a set date at a set location (I do back to back sessions on these dates). Are there any additional costs or hidden fees we should be aware of when booking an Indianapolis family photography session with you?
Nope. Your deposit is $100 to book your date. The remaining balance is due the day of your session. All my booking and payment is done online. Then you will receive all your edited images two weeks after your session date. You can print your images however you like. However, if you would like to purchase print products though me I would be happy to do that for you. Here are my printing recommendations.
