Sweet Emilia came to my Zionsville studio from nearby Westfield—and she was a dream to photograph.
She had a full head of dark hair and the brightest blue eyes. No surprise there—both mom and dad have stunning blue eyes too. This family made my job easy.
We started with a few wrapped poses to help her settle in. She gave us a mix of sleepy and awake shots, and her eye contact during the awake moments was incredible. Those wide-eyed images are some of my favorites.
Mom and dad were relaxed and so in love with their baby girl. We captured some beautiful parent shots that show that connection perfectly.
I typically photograph newborns within the first two weeks of life, but I always work around baby’s schedule. Emilia reminded me that every session is different—and that’s what makes them special.
