A rainbow baby is a baby born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. The term comes from the idea that a lovely rainbow can only be seen following a storm. The term is meant to bring hope for things to get better and that the rainbow can be appreciated even more now that the storm has been experienced.
This beautiful girl is a rainbow baby. Every baby is loved by their parents, but this beautiful girl is loved in ways that only a rainbow baby could be loved. It’s so beautiful to see this lovely girl and her parents. This little one’s parents went though so much hurt before they were able to meet their rainbow baby. It was a joy and an honor to be able to photograph this session for this family.
It’s been so much fun watching this sweet girl grow over the last year!! Happy 1st Birthday!!
