I just wrapped another round of tree farm mini sessions at Dull’s Tree Farm in Thornton, Indiana. I shoot here twice a year, and these holiday minis are always a highlight. The farm is gorgeous. The light hits the trees just right. And the setting works for every age and every family size.
I ran these sessions over six different days. Each spot was twenty minutes long. Quick. Simple. And perfect for busy families who still want updated pictures. I guarantee at least twenty images in a mini session. But this year, most families walked away with closer to fifty or sixty. The kids were happy. The parents relaxed fast. And the trees helped everything fall into place.
These sessions also work well for holiday cards. The colors pop. The evergreens feel classic. And the final galleries give families plenty of choices for gifts, prints, and cards. Every year I see my photos on mantels and mailers all over Indianapolis. It never gets old.
