I only schedule 7-10 newborns per month. This allows me to give each family the time and attention they deserve. However, because of this, my calendar fills up quickly. If you wait until after baby is born to book, you may miss your spot. If you baby is here, it never hurts to reach out and ask if I have any openings, but it’s best to book before baby arrives!
When a new baby arrives, it’s a big change for everyone, including older siblings. Teens and pre-teens often have mixed feelings about having a newborn in the house. They might be excited or a little hesitant. Some might want to hold the baby all day, while others might feel a bit distant or unsure. Both reactions are completely normal, and understanding these differences is key to a successful newborn photo session.
Big families bring a different energy. The studio buzzes with excitement and fun. There’s always someone with a something going on. Coordinating everyone can be a bit of a puzzle, but that’s part of the fun. The result is always worth it—a beautiful, dynamic portrait that showcases each member’s place in the family.
