I love big families. This family was the perfect example of why. Don’t get me wrong, all families are perfect, no matter the size. But I love the challenge of photographing big families in the studio. It’s always a lively session with lots of laughter and interaction. Capturing each personality and the unique bonds between siblings is so rewarding.
Big families bring a different energy. The studio buzzes with excitement and fun. There’s always someone with a something going on. Coordinating everyone can be a bit of a puzzle, but that’s part of the fun. The result is always worth it—a beautiful, dynamic portrait that showcases each member’s place in the family.
Another highlight of this session was the mom’s idea to bring her wedding dress. She wanted to photograph her only girl with it after having four boys. It was the perfect girly wedding dress, full of beading and sparkle. The images we captured of baby girl on the wedding dress are pure perfection. The dress added a touch of elegance and sentimentality to the photos.
Moments like these are why I love what I do. Capturing the connection between a mother and her daughter in such a special way is priceless. The sparkle of the dress, the innocence of the baby girl, and the love in mom’s eyes all come together to create timeless images.
